 A great day for kids |

Today in Holland it´s a great day, at 12.00 hrs (noon) Sinterklaas arrives with his boat from spain with his white horse named " Americo" and his helpers the " zwarte pieten" On the boat that arrives are also a lot of presents and candy for the kids. The Big Sinterklaas evening is december 5th, where really a lot of present will be given to the kids.
Sinterklaas, whas long time ago the Bishop of Myra,Turkey.
Sinterklaas and Santa Claus are not the same in Holland, in fact Santa Claus is the American version of Sinterklaas, and is really made by some big company´s to sell more in the days before christmis.

Well... we have similar situation. Santa Clause visits our homes on 6th of Dec and then 24th... wtf? some ppl may ask? He has (that bishop from Turkey) name day on 6th so that's why he is coming here, 24th is for "business"... american holiday
